Funeral services held for Stephen Nichols

RUMFORD -- Funeral services for Stephen Nichols were held on March 21, 2013 at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Shepherd Swain officiating.  
Eulogy was given by Joshua Shaw and memories and reflections were shared by other family members and friends.  
Interment in the spring will be in the Farrington Morton Cemetery, Mexico.

Funeral services held for Joseph B. “Hawkeye” Thibodeau

RUMFORD -- A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Joseph B. “Hawkeye” Thibodeau was celebrated on March 21, 2013 at Parish of the Holy Savior.

Fr. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist.

Funeral services held for Eva T. Grondin

RUMFORD -- A Memorial Service honoring the life of Eva T. Grondin was held on March 9, 2013 at SG Thibault Funeral Home.

Fr. Robert Vaillancourt officiated. The Old Testament reading was proclaimed by Colleen Litalien. The New Testament reading was proclaimed by great-granddaughter Bailey Spurr. Personal reflections were shared by granddaughter Merrie Sue Spurr, who also read personal reflections written by granddaughter Lisa Resnick from California.

A reception followed at the funeral home.

Spring interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery.

Funeral services held for Myra Crosby

MEXICO -- Funeral services for Myra Crosby were held on March 9 at 11 a.m. from the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC, with Pastor Izzie Radford Nash and Rev. John Gensel, co-officiating.  
The opening hymn was In the Garden with scripture readings of Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8, 14 by Bonnie Ashworth and 1 Corinthians 13 by Roland Arsenault. Kelsey Arsenault provided special music and Roland Arsenault offered the Gospel Reading of John 14: 1-7.
