Linwood "Lin" Frank Wright
Jun 10, 2011 12:00 amFARMINGTON -- Linwood "Lin" Frank Wright, died peacefully and with dignity and grace at the Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center on May 17, 2011.
Lt. Col. Wright, USAF, retired, 85, was born May 31, 1925 in Stratton. He was the first born son of Malcolm and Doris Wright. Upon graduation from Stratton High School, he earned his Maine Guide License under the tutelage of famed Maine Game Warden Helon Taylor.
Elizabeth Jane (Spring) Andexler
Jun 10, 2011 12:00 amLEWISTON -- Elizabeth Jane (Spring) Andexler, 53, of Andover passed away on May 19, 2011 in Lewiston after losing her battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Hartford, CT on January 12, 1958, the daughter of Joseph N. and Elizabeth (Griggs) Spring Sr. She graduated from Concord Carlisle High School in 1976.

Jun 10, 2011 12:00 amRUMFORD -- A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth B. Chase was celebrated on May 5, 2011 at St. Athanasius–St. John Church with Fr. Phil Tracy as the Celebrant.
The Altar server was George Gionet. The organist was Mark Belanger.
Musical selections included Be Not Afraid, Because The Lord is My Shepherd, Fly Like a Bird. Amazing Grace was sung by Rhonda Chase. I Want to Know You was sung by Stephen Gosselin
A reading was given by granddaughter, Micki Gosselin. Eulogies were given by grandchildren, Angie Chase and Bob Chase.
Funeral services held for Donald F. Hebert Sr.
Jun 07, 2011 11:00 amRUMFORD -- A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Donald F. Hebert Sr. was celebrated on May 9, 2011 at Parish of the Holy Savior.
Fr. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist.
Music selections were Wind Beneath My Wings, Ave Maria, Amazing Grace and Fly Like a Bird. The Old Testament was proclaimed by Grace Hebert. The New Testament was proclaimed by Gerrie Warren. Gift Bearers were Vincent Hebert and Barry Campbell.
Personal reflections were shared by Lauren Hebert, and Stephen Cudmore.

Jun 05, 2011 9:00 pmRUMFORD -- Funeral services for Ruth M. Karpen of Rumford, were conducted on May 3, 2011 at the Meader & son Funeral Home, with Pastor Carol Stevens officiating.
Music selections included “In the Garden”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, “The Rose”, and “Ave Maria.
Words of remembrance were given by her niece, Rebecca Collins.
Interment was in the Demerritt Cemetery, West Peru. Committal services were conducted by Pastor Carol Stevens.
A reception followed the services at the VFW Hall on Waldo Street, Rumford.

He will be missed by his sisters, Donna Lowe. Dinah Cutting, Andy Beauchesne and Robin Nevel.

She was born in Rumford on June 29, 1933, a daughter of Alphey and Doris (DeWitt) Poulin. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford Class of 1951.
