Eagles' travel team members hold fundraiser

MEXICO -- On April 21, the first fundraiser was held for next season's Mountain Valley Eagles girls' basketball travel team.

The girls, under coach Mike Perry, held a car wash fundraiser at the Mexico Fire Department. The fundraiser was a big success. The girls thank the Mexico Fire Department, Mike Chartier and all the patrons for their generous donations in support of the team.

Participating team members are Coach Mike Perry, Mgr. Zack Allison, and players Chelsea Allison, Emily Billings, Julia Perry and Cheyenne White. Others supporting the event were Julie and Steve Allison, Sue, Lloyd, Jessica (and son, Kaden), Vanessa (and daughter, Kera) Billings and Diane Perry.
