Football clinic for grades 2-5

RUMFORD -- The Greater Rumford Community Center will hold its first annual youth football clinic in July at Hosmer Field.
The clinic, for grades 2-5, will be 5:30-7 p.m. on both Tuesday and Thursday, July 12, then will continue for two more weeks at the same day and time.
This clinics is about the instruction of the basic fundamentals of football and about the equipment that is used.
Coaches for the clinic include MVMS coach Gary Dolloff, AYF coaches Buddy Hosie, Scott Gauvin, Kelly Gorham, Mark Richard, Rick Blanchard and Mark Brennick, as well as several MVHS football players.
The hope is there will be a night with some MVHS coaching staff.
The fee is $20, which includes a shirt. Arrangements can be made if a child does not the funds for the fee.
