Polar Bears annual meeting

RUMFORD -- The Rumford Polar Bears Snowmobile Club will hold their annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at Sam's Restaurant on Rt. 2.
Election of officers for the board of directors will take place, with nominations accepted from the floor. Any club member is welcome to run for president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, trail master(s) and two at-large board members.
One of the benefits of membership is a $250 post-secondary scholarship to a graduating senior. To qualify, an applicant must be a member of the Polar Bears. The name, address, phone number and name of the future school can be sent to Rumford Polar Bears

The scholarship will be chosen in May by a random drawing and awarded upon successful completion of the first semester of college or vocational school.
