LANDOWNER APPRECIATION

LANDOWNER APPRECIATION -- Maine Game Warden Brock Clukey was the guest speaker at the Landowner Appreciation Dinner hosted by the Rumford Polar Bears Snowmobile Club on October 18 at the Eagles Hall. The 50 people present were able to ask Warden Cluckey questions about recreational uses on their property. The club hosts this dinner every fall to show its appreciation to the landowners who so generously allow snowmobiling on their property. Without landowner permission there would be no snowmobiling!  Snowmobile season is fast approaching, and the Polar Bears wish to remind riders that snowmobiling is a privilege, not a right.
