STATE LOGGING MEET

STATE LOGGING MEET -- Kenny Haas and Ricky Osgood of Region 9 are seen working together during the skidder competition at the recent 35th annual High School Woodsmen's Competition held at Mountain View Campground in Dixfield. Foster Technical School of Farmington won the overall competition with a combined total of 56.5 points, with host Region 9 in second with 38.5, Region 2 of Houlton took bronze. In fourth was Oxford Hills, which took the Sportsmanship Award,which was presented by Marc Dupuis and David Mason, the event's co-organizers and Region 9 certified professional logging instructors.
