Travel team action

REGION -- In recent Western Maine Basketball League action, local scores for the fifth and sixth grade teams were as follows:

For the girls:

Mtn. Valley over Farmington by 36-12.

For the Eagles, Liza White had 18 points and Emily Lavbauskas scored 10.

For Farmington, Taylor Burke had six points and Leah St. Laurent score four.

Mtn. Valley Eagles over Lewiston Rec. by 24-14.

For the Eagles, Liza White scored eight points, with four each from Julia Perry, Chelsea Allison and Grace Briggs, with two points from Emily Laubauskas.

For Lewiston Rec., Morgan Elinsen scored eight points, Skylar Gaudette with four and Jordan Myrahan with two.

Oxford Hills over Mtn. Valley by 44-36.

Oxford Hills had 20 from Erin Morton and 10 from Sophia Hanscom.

The Eagles had 15 from L. White, 10 from C. Allison, six from E. Laubauskas. two each from A. Theriault and E. Billings, and a point from J. Perry.

For the boys:

Dirigo over Farmington by 45-22.

Dirigo had 18 points from Kyle Swett, eight from Gavin Hebert and seven from Cooper Chiasson.

Farmington scorers included seven from Cal Dorman, five from D. McDonald and four each from K. Vining and M. Thompson.

Messalonskee over Mtn. Valley by 58-46.

The winners had 15 points from H. Sophia, 12 from B. McKenna.

Messalonskee - eight from L. Mikayla and C. Ally.

For the Eagles, L. White scored 11 points, with eight each from C. Allison and E. Billings and six from J. Perry.

Dixfield over AYS, 30-17.

For Dixfield, Kyle Swett scored 14, with eight from Gavin Hebert and six from Vincent Hebert.

AYS had eight points from Austin Darling, three from Caulin Parker and four from Jordy Daigle.

Dixfield defeated Oak Hill by 33-26.

The winners had 18 points from Cooper Chiasson, seven from Gavin Hebert and four from Kyle Swett.

Oak Hill had nine points from Eli Kropp, six from Marcus Bailey and four from Cohen Donnell.
